Chris Peterson Raises Money for Richmond Women's Club

There were those who questioned the wisdom of having a female impersonator perform at the Woman’s Club, and their worst fears were promptly confirmed last week when Chris Peterson took the stage Sept. 22. He was unapologetically lewd. He publicly insulted his hosts. He flouted every social convention, including the one that female impersonators should maintain the illusion of femininity while onstage. And — most shocking of all — the audience loved it.
