Turning down a $100,000 grand a week hardly makes Robbie Williams look manly. Takes a real man to play a fag, doesn’t it.
The star fears that if he takes the starring role in The Boy From Oz, it will fuel rumours he is gay, the Daily Star reports.
He is so sick of gossip that he has already been driven to declare: “I’m not gay.”
Sources close to Robbie said he has his sights set on breaking the US market but would only do so “in the right way”.
They say he does not want to be “typecast” as a gay character and hopes to land a more “macho role.”
