The Audi TT Roadster

The gong was announced during Melbourne’s Gayaz Expo in Melbourne last month, where 10 contenders were displayed during the event’s three days. The Expo attracted 13,000 people, about 10 per cent of which voted in what is the only Australian Car of The Year Award where the public can participate.

Finalists included the second place-getting Mazda’s RX-8, Audi’s Allroad, the Audi A4 cabriolet, the Mazda3 SP23, Mitsubishi’s Outlander (Airtrek in NZ), the Ford Territory, Ford’s Fiesta, the Holden Monaro CV8 and Holden’s Astra convertible.
