Graham Norton has published his autobiography, So Me.
He never actually told his parents he was gay, although they might have had an inkling as he used to dress up in the net curtains when he was eight. His mother phoned to ask him why they had to hear he was homosexual from the telly: “But you told me not to upset my father,” he replied.
