Lil’ Kim - Gay Icon?

The October issue of Blender interviews Lil Kim:

Knowing that there are many haters in the world, how does Kim rationalize stories about her: “I don’t know why people spread rumors about me,” sighs Kim. “That’s a question no one can answer. I’m just fabulous.”

Kim is a gay icon? Who knew? Obviously she did: “Yes. But I don’t like to just think of myself as only that. I don’t like when people say ‘Oh, just a gay icon,’ because I feel like I’m loved by many and not just gay people. I love my gay fans. But I love all my fans.”
