I’ve watched some pretty awful movies - including some Euro-trash thing in which he played a gardener who was really a tree - just for a glimpse of Joe Dallesandro. There was something special about the relative proportions of his body parts.

“Dallesandro was not only the most beautiful man in his media generation, but also put his erotic appeal out to consciously be objectified,” Wieland Speck, the head of the Teddy Award selection panel said in a statement.
“He has this physical appearance you never get tired of watching. This is true for the moving picture as well as photographs - and for men as for women.”
